Roman

The Romans presented their mythological stories as historical despite the supernatural elements present in the narratives. Evident in all of the arts and literature of the ancient culture, Roman Mythology was greatly influenced by the Greek religion. Many of the Roman Gods have a Greek counterpart and both traditions include both religious and political ideology. Unlike their Greek predecessors, who had aesthetically beautiful deities presented in a human form, the gods of Roman Mythology were more conceptual in their identities. They were designed to come alive in the minds of the Roman subjects. Roman Mythology has stood the test of time and the engaging tales continue to fascinate people today.
